Tree of Life

This assignment offered a “creative garden” of space and possibility, with six options of digital communication artefacts—six seeds. From these, I cultivated four self-made artefacts and grew them into a holistic creative portfolio I call the “Tree of Life”. 

The creative process was deeply personal and developmental: 

  • grounding ideas in who I am—my values, background, and skills, alongside research, contextual awareness, and communication practices;
  • branching outward through risk-taking, experimenting with new tools and approaches, and hands-on making that allowed creativity to spark and take shape as deliverable outcomes;
  • and, ultimately, growing toward what I hope to become: a professional communicator who speaks authentically, meaningfully, and impactfully.

The final work, therefore, uniquely blends both craft and self: practical communication artefacts shaped through reflection,  experimentation, and a coherent narrative voice that is distinctly my own.
